What is personal data

Personal data is any data that can be traced, directly or indirectly, to a natural person. When using this website, that will be you in particular. Examples of personal data are your name, e-mail address, telephone number and bank account number.

Anything that can be done with personal data is called ‘processing’. This includes collecting, storing, consulting and deleting personal data.

From whom we process personal data

We process personal data of people with whom we have, have had or intend to have a direct or indirect relationship. These include in particular clients of our training courses, but also visitors to our website. In addition, we may process personal data of employees of our suppliers or other persons with whom we have had contact.

We process your personal data based on the following processing grounds:

• For the performance of a contract with you;
• To represent our legitimate interests, e.g. for certain marketing activities;
• If you have given consent.

For what purposes do we process personal data

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

• for the performance of a contract

When you become a customer, we need personal data from you. For example, to inform you in advance about the training course and to handle payment. As long as you are our customer, we process your personal data.

• To follow-up on your questions or messages

If you contact us via a contact form on the website, via an email or by other means to ask a question or request information, we need your personal data to be able to answer you.

• To conduct marketing activities

To serve you well, we process personal data for marketing activities. Among other things, we may inform you about our products and services by e-mail. We do this through a newsletter, for example. If you do not wish to be contacted by us for marketing activities, you can let us know. Our contact details can be found at the bottom of this Privacy Statement and on the contact page of our website.

• For the purposes of analysis

Sometimes it is desirable to do analyses to understand, for example, where our customers come from. When we do analyses, we do so using anonymised data if possible.

We will never process more personal data than we really need. In addition, we do not store personal data longer than necessary. We also ensure good security of your personal data.

Suppliers and partners

For some work, we engage suppliers or partners. For example, for our ICT environment, for some training courses or assignments. We only use suppliers who take appropriate security measures to protect your personal data. They are also not allowed to use your personal data for other purposes. We work as much as possible with suppliers that process personal data within the European Economic Area (EEA). Within these countries, the same level of privacy protection applies as in the Netherlands. Sometimes suppliers process personal data in a country outside the EEA. Even then, we ensure an appropriate level of privacy protection, for example through the use of EU Model Contracts and possibly a Transfer Impact Assessment.
